Introducing mylog.zip - Your Personal Logging Platform

mylog.zip - Personal Logging Platform

I'm excited to finally share something I've been working on for a while now: mylog.zip — a personal logging platform that puts privacy first. Think of it as your second brain, but one that actually respects your data.

The idea came from my own frustration. I wanted a place to capture thoughts, track progress, and organize my life — without handing everything over to some big tech company. So I built one myself.

What is mylog.zip?

mylog.zip is a personal logging and journaling platform. You can create entries, tag them, organize them into categories, and look back at your history through a calendar view. Nothing revolutionary so far, right? But here's where it gets interesting.

End-to-End Encryption

Every sensitive entry you create is end-to-end encrypted. That means not even I, as the operator, can read your logs. *Your data belongs to you.* This was non-negotiable from day one. As someone working in IT security, I know how important this is — and how rarely it's actually done properly.

AI-Powered Features

mylog.zip features overview

Here's the fun part: mylog.zip uses AI to make your logging experience smarter. It can automatically generate tags, suggest titles for your entries, and help you identify patterns over time. All of this while keeping your data private.

More Features

There's a lot packed into the platform:

  • Calendar visualization to spot patterns in your life
  • Location tagging with map integration
  • Custom categories with personalized icons
  • REST API for third-party integrations
  • Dark mode support

The platform already has over 50,000 active users and more than 7,100 entries created. I'm really happy with how the community has grown.

Try It Out

There's a free tier, so you can just head over to mylog.zip and start logging. If you like it, there are Premium and Pro plans with additional features. I'd love to hear your feedback!
